Anton Chekhov - The Post (Book Cover Design)

Anton Chekhov was a Russian writer well known for his works on playwrights and fictional short stories that many loved reading. In September 1887, he would publish a book simply titled, "The Post". The story involves a Postmaster who sends his Nephew, a student, to ride along on a mail cart with the Postman and Driver to the Station. Along the way, they encounter many obstacles to which effects them from reaching their destination safely.

After reading the short story, I decided to design a book cover of that short story if it would be reprinted in the modern day. I gave it the style of a wrapped mail package and on it were some stamps with illustrations to give the reader an idea of what to expect.
